MARIE A. VINCEL

Marie A. Vincel, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 26, 1916, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of A. F. and Irene Blank Maurer.

She married Frank L. Vincel Jan. 15, 1939, at Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Feb. 11, 1969.

She was a member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Cape Girardeau, the Friendship Circle of the church and the church choir. She was a member and past president of the GFWE Tuesday Federated Club and a member and past High Priestess of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Calvary Shrine #8. She was also a member of the Order of the Amaranth Cape Court #14 and Order of the Eastern Star St. Mark Chapter #167.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Susan Vincel of Cape Girardeau, and one granddaughter, Crystal Morton.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home at Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at Evangelical United Church of Christ in Cape Girardeau . A White Shrine Service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the church, with the Revs. Jim Caughlin and Ernie Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park at Cape Girardeau.
