SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Marian Stubbs, 83, of Scott City died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at her home.
She was born June 18,1918, in Stoddard County, Mo., daughter of Thomas Wilson and Mettie Pack Midgett. She married Henry Stubbs, who preceded her in death.
Stubbs had been an office manager and bookkeeper. She was formerly of Morehouse and Hazelwood, Mo.
Survivors include a son, Gary Carrington of Rocky Mount, Mo.; a daughter, Terry Sanders of Scott City; a brother, Thomas Midgett of Pittsburg, Texas; a sister, June Johnson of Eldon, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Billy and Thomas Scheper; a daughter, Linda Murphy; and two great-granddaughters.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Mo., from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Neil Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.
