Marian Sander

Marian Leslie Sexton Sander, 86, of Chesterfield, Mo., died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at Delmar Gardens on the Green in Chesterfield.

She was born Jan. 27, 1919, in Sikeston, Mo., daughter of Leslie and Lula Belle Sexton. She and Denver L. Sander were married Nov. 28, 1941, in Sikeston. He died March 30, 1986.

Sander was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ in Cape Girardeau, and its Friendship Circle and Mary Martha Circle, and a member of United Commercial Travelers.

Survivors include a son, Rodney L. Sander of Jefferson City, Mo.; a daughter, Judy Gash and husband Mark of St. Peters, Mo.; two grandchildren, Kimberly Dawn Anderson of Arnold, Mo., Brian Philip Sparks and wife Kara of Tempe, Ariz.; three great-grandchildren, Mia Nicole Anderson of Arnold, Crystal Sander of state of Virginia, and Nicholas Sander of Jefferson City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from noon to 2 p.m. Monday.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ernest Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
