BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Mariam Eleanor Aslin, 70, of Bloomfield died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Mo.
She was born March 15, 1931, at Bloomfield, daughter of Venton and Pearl Parks Martin. She and Elvin Aslin were married March 19, 1949. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of Hills General Baptist Church and the Bloomfield Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include one son, Kyle Aslin of Bloomfield; five brothers, Wayne Martin of Riverview, Fla., Richard Martin of Bloomfield, Jim Martin of Wayne, Mich., Tom Martin of Little Rock, Ark., Dean Martin of Plant City, Fla.; one sister, Freida Lee of Dexter; and two grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a grandson.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Tom Martin will officiate, with burial in Walker Cemetery.
