Margy Huggins, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born July 15, 1933, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Hayward Joseph and Verna Ussery Poe. She and Herbert Huggins were married Aug. 17, 1952, at Cape Girardeau.
Huggins belonged to the Word of Faith Fellowship Church in Cape Girardeau, where she served as church pianist. She worked at the former International Shoe Company in Cape Girardeau for eight years and later in Chaffee, Mo., for four years. She was a graduate of Scott City High School in Scott City, Mo.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Huggins; one son, Darryl Huggins of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Debbie Perr of Scott City and Donna Tidwell of Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers, Don Poe of Shawnee, Okla., and Dan Poe of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Vonda Snyder of Sikeston; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Word of Faith Fellowship Church, with the Rev. Don Henson officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
