WYATT -- Margie Ann Marshall, 55, of Wyatt, formerly of East Prairie, died Friday, Oct. 10, 1997, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston after an extended illness.
She was born July 21, 1942, in New Madrid County, the daughter of the William Perry and Delia R. Faust Tanksley.
On March 29, 1991, she married David Marshall.
She had lived in Mississippi County most of her life and was a member of the New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church of Wyatt.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, James Garner and Bernell Garner, both of Wyatt; a daughter, Sandra Smart of Ocala, Fla.; four brothers, Richard Tanksley of Marble Hill, Sam Tanksley of Cape Girardeau, Marion Tanksley of Lexington, Tenn., and Carl Tanksley of East Prairie; four sisters, Magdaline Mills of Portland, Ore., Elizabeth Rogers of rural Sikeston, and Dorothy Zook and Ruth Ivie, both of East Prairie; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with Brother LeRoy Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was Saturday.
