Margie Louise LeDure-Wilfawn, daughter of the late Melvin "Mack" Smith and Betty Joan Elders-Smith, was born Dec. 6, 1963, in Scott City and entered the gates of heaven Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 58.

She was an employee of Chartwells at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau and was a resident of Scott City.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel LeDure and Steven Wilfawn, both of Scott City; five sisters, Debbie Bollinger and Linda Smith, both of Scott City, Mary Umfleet of Benton, Missouri, and Maxine Mahler and Becky Moore, both of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Ryan Wilfawn and Brayden Wilfawn; her companion, Keith Smith of Cape Girardeau; and her little precious fur baby, Runt.

Besides her parents, Margie was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Wilfawn, and two sisters, Brenda Lee Smith and Joanie Curd.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral will then be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lightner Cemetery.
