Memorial service for Margie I. Boren of Cape Girardeau will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark Lutheran Church. The Rev. Fred Schmucker will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements...

Memorial service for Margie I. Boren of Cape Girardeau will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark Lutheran Church. The Rev. Fred Schmucker will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Boren, 76, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 1996, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born April 11, 1920, in Missouri Valley, Iowa, daughter of Robert F. and Jessie Christina Myers Hutton. She and Ivan L. Boren were married Nov. 10, 1950. He died May 2, 1995.

Boren was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and the Women of the E.L.C.A.

Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Boren of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by a sister.
