CAIRO, Ill. -- Margery Samuels, 85, of Rogers, Ark., died Thursday, Nov. 28, 1996, at Innisfree Nursing Home in Rogers.
She was born Nov. 16, 1911, in Cairo, daughter of Edward C. and Prudy Rogers Robinson. She married Clarence Samuels, who died in 1969.
Samuels retired from the former Dotty Shoppe in Cairo. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Cairo.
Survivors include two daughters, Caroletta Holt of Fulton, Ky., Marilyn LaCombe of Springdale, Ark.; a brother, Vincent Robinson of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo, from 1-2 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Dr. Cecil Bellew officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Heights Cemetery at Mounds.
