MARGARET WOOD

PERRYVILLE -- Margaret L. Wood, 84, of Perryville died Sunday, Sept. 12, 1999, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 27, 1915, at Perryville, daughter of Leon and Getty Griffith Moranville. She and Dennis A. Wood were married June 10, 1939. He died July 15, 1997.

Wood was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and American Association of Retired Persons.

Survivors include a son, Tom Wood of Perryville; a daughter, Helena Wood of Atlanta, Ga.; four brothers, Fred Moranville of Edgewater, Fla., Leo Moranville of Chester, Ill., Eddie Moranville of Farmington, Ill., Erwin Moranville of Chatsworth, Ill.; four sisters, Hazel Manche and Letha Brewer of Perryville, Lena Esselman and Elsie Turner of Chester.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-10:50 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
