Margaret Simpson

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Margaret Ann Simpson, 84, of Chaffee passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born Sept. 26, 1933, in Hickeytown, Arkansas, to the late Hoyt and Selma Hickey Jones. She married Ray Gene Simpson on Sept. 30, 1952, and he preceded her in death Dec. 2, 1989.

Margaret was a retired factory worker for Florsheim Shoe Co. in Chaffee. She was a member of the General Baptist Church in Randles.

She is survived by a son, Stan Simpson of Chaffee; a daughter, Mary Ann (Terry) Dewrock of Burton, Michigan; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Brother Leeman Shirrell officiating. Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery.
