CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Margaret Sevier, 417 S. Fountain, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Second Baptist Church. The Rev. George P. Ashby will officiate, with burial in Fairmount Cemetery.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-6 p.m. today, and at the church Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Sevier, 91 years old, died Monday, April 8, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born June 6, 1899, in Cape, daughter of Jim and Minnie Washington Statler. She married Tom L. Sevier, who died May 3, 1988. Mrs. Sevier was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Survivors include two nieces, Dorothy Green and Mary Horsey of St. Louis, and a nephew, James Fullenwider of Decatur, Ill.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
