Margaret Elizabeth Salisbury, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born March 31, 1925, in Frankfort, Ky., daughter of George Conrad and Anna Mae Faust Fincel. She and Dr. Jack D. Salisbury were married in 1947 in Louisville, Ky. He died in November 1989.
Margaret grew up in Frankfort. She was a registered nurse with U.S. Nurse Cadet Corps. She was nursing supervisor at Kings Daughters Hospital in Frankfort from 1960 to 1972, and worked with the Department of Kentucky Human Resources for Medicare Entitlement until 1987. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1995. She was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include two daughters, Chadie Fruehwald of Cape Girardeau, Mary Anderson of Arlington, Va.; and her beloved dog, Judy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home in Frankfort. Burial will be in Frankfort Cemetery.
