CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Margaret Hope Rhodes, 96, of Chaffee died Thursday, March 15, 2007, at Chaffee Nursing Center.
She was born Nov. 13, 1910, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., daughter of W.H. "Bud" and Laura White Hickman. She and John C. Rhodes were married Sept. 23, 1929. He died April 24, 1974.
Rhodes was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chaffee, the United Methodist Women, and the Ladies Auxiliary United Transportation Union.
Survivors include a son, William "Bill" Rhodes of Chaffee; a daughter, Phyllis Wilkinson of Hope, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Marty Blakey officiating.
Interment will be Monday at Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Mo.
