MARGARET REED

Margaret G. Reed, 69, 272 Rockport, died Wednesday, April 30, 1997, at her home.

She was born July 20, 1927, in Merchantville, N.J., daughter of John Morrison and Edith Lavender Godwin. She and Richard H. Reed were married April 15, 1950, in Merchantville.

Reed was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Elizabeth Davis of Ottawa, Ill., Jennifer Suva of Lockport, Ill.; a brother, Sydney Godwin of Englewood, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

There is no visitation or service here.

A memorial service will be held later in Lockport.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel was in charge of local arrangements.
