PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Margaret "Peg" Byron Lottes, 73, of Perryville died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at her home.
She was born Sept. 6, 1941, in Chicago, daughter of Phillip and Margaret Egan Byron. She and John W. "Jay" Lottes Sr. were married Sept. 5, 1964. He survives in Perryville.
Peg was a homemaker and sales clerk at Rozier's fabric department. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters, John W. (Paula) Lottes, Margaret (Michael) Hotop and Mary Beth Lottes, all of Perryville, Edward Lottes of St. Louis and Daniel Lottes of Pasadena, California; one sister and four brothers, Frances Fergus of Pennsylvania and Phillip Byron, Donald Byron, Joseph Byron and James Byron, all of Chicago; and five grandchildren, Casey Hotop, Chelsey Hotop, Austin Hotop, Brett Lottes and Brooke Lottes.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Tom Croak officiating. Entombment will be in the Mary Queen of Heaven Mausoleum at Mount Hope Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Vincent School or Centennial Endowment Fund, Gentiva Hospice or Vincentian Seminary in Kenya.
