WAPPAPELLO -- Margaret Modglin, 67, of Wappapello died Monday, April 26, 1999, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.
She was born Nov. 9, 1931, at Qulin, daughter of Russell and Opal Davis Pennington. She and Willard "Bill" Modglin were married Dec. 6, 1947, at Pocahontas, Ark.
Modglin had lived in St. Louis, but spent most of her life in the Wappapello area. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Wappapello.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Doug Modglin; a daughter, Diane Barnfield; her stepmother, Mildred Pennington, all of Wappapello; three brothers, Marvin Pennington of Poplar Bluff, Donald Pennington of Farmington, Wayne Pennington of Barnhart; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. James Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery near Malden.
