Margaret Maguire

CAMPUS, Ill. -- Margaret M. Maguire, 77, of Campus died Friday, Nov. 16, 2001, at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Ill.

Her funeral was Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church in Campus, with the Rev. William Gardner officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Campus.

She was born Dec. 5, 1923, in Joliet, daughter of William and Hazel Kennedy Breen. She and Ellsworth F. "Pat" Maguire were married Sept. 14, 1942, in Campus. He died Oct. 9, 2000.

She was a 1942 graduate of Reddick High School and was employed for 27 1/2 years by the U.S. Army at Joliet Arsenal and at Rock Island Arsenal until her retirement in 1984. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Bloomington, Ill.

Survivors include: a son, Bill Maguire of Joliet; two daughters, Mary Claire Derr of Coal City, Ill., and Martha Feeney of Jackson, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
