OAK RIDGE -- Margaret L. Leimer, 86, of Burlington, Iowa, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, at Burlington Care Center.
She was born Nov. 4, 1913, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Oscar H. and Roxie Kurre Lang. She and Melvin Leimer were married June 5, 1938, at Old Appleton.
Leimer lived 20 years in Keokuk, Iowa, before moving to Burlington. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Burlington and its Ruth Circle, PEO Chapter KB, and Burlington Federated Women's Club.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gerald Leimer of Eagan, Minn., Donald Leimer of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.; a daughter, Nancy Kuebler of Minnetonka, Minn.; two brothers, William Lang of Oak Ridge, Byron Lang of Jackson; two sisters, Leona Tuschhoff of Wentzville, Mary Dell Clingingsmith of Oak Ridge; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Lunning Chapel in Burlington after noon today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Messiah Church. The Rev. Donald Hoornstra will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington.
