Margaret Konopka

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Margaret Ann Konopka, 55, of Chaffee passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at her daughters home.

She was born Feb. 2, 1962, in Salem, North Carolina, to Eugene and Helen Kauffelt.

Margaret was a retired certified nursing assistant with Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her father, a brother and a son.

Survivors include two daughters, Melissa (David Copeland) Konopka of Chaffee and Chris Konopka of Cape Girardeau; a brother, John Konopka of New Jersey; and two grandchildren, Caden Wade and Dax Copeland, both of Chaffee.

A memorial service will be at a later date.
