MARGARET I. ASBURY

PERRYVILLE -- Margaret Irene Asbury, 73, of Perryville, died Monday, Oct. 24, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 15, 1921, in Perry County, daughter of Benjamin D. and Corine Picou Rozier. She and Ivan C. Asbury were married March 7, 1944. He died July 31, 1972.

Asbury was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Joan Liebi and Ann Kurdi of California, Mo., Sheree Slayton of Korea; three sisters, Emelie Sterling and Louise Franklin of Perryville, Virginia Lalumondiere of St. Louis, and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. Thursday, and after 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Phil Floersch officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Chester, Ill.
