Margaret Hirschfield

Margaret M. Hirschfield, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born April 28, 1940, in Chicago to the Rev. Thomas and Helen Allen.

She married Ted Hirschfield.

She worked for Drury Industries for many years.

She and her husband retired and moved to the Gulf Coast of Florida. After Ted's death, she moved back to Cape Girardeau and took residence at Chateau Girardeau.

She was a Cardinal baseball fan and enjoyed gardening, especially growing roses. She also enjoyed traveling in the Southwestern United States.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a brother, Dr. Thomas Allen of Oklahoma; and a granddaughter, Cassondra N. Calvin of Perryville, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Ann Calvin; and a sister, Janice Lahman.

There will be no services at this time.
