VILLA RIDGE, Ill -- Margaret Ella Haffly, 73, of Springfield, Ill., died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999, at Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
She was at born March 17, 1926, at Buncombe.
She was a retired clerk from the Illinois State Police. She was a member of the Seventh Street Assemble of God Church in Springfield.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Haffly of Springfield; two sons, Robert L. Haffly II, Winchester, Ky., and B.J. Haffly of Pooleville, Texas; a daughter, Monica Grinkey of Baylis; four brothers, William Bennett of San Diego, Carl Pfaff of Olmsted, Cecil Pfaff of Villa Ridge and Wendell Pfaff of Ringgold, Ga.; a sister, Nellie Ferguson of Kankakee; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather and mother.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pulaski, with the Rev. Della Russell officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 to noon Monday at the Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge.
