Margaret Jane Elfrink, 93, of Jackson died Friday, June 24, 2005, at Monticello House in Jackson.
She was born Oct. 10, 1911, at Laflin, Mo., daughter of Henry Leo and Cornelia VanDoren Steinnerd.
She and Philip B. Elfrink were married May 25, 1937, and he died Feb. 29, 1976.
Margaret was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Ann's Sodality and the church quilting club. She taught in the Leopold School District and at Seilers School at Lutesville, Mo.
Survivors include four sons, Lindell Elfrink and wife Roberta of Alamosa, Colo., Glenn Elfrink and wife Brenda of Jackson, Loren Elfrink and wife Catherine of Oran, Mo., Stephen Elfrink and wife Olga of Savannah, Ga.; four sisters, Monica Lewis of Gordonville, Ursula Nenninger of Leopold, Loretta Arnzen of Jackson, Eula VanGennip of Glennon, Mo.; and five grandchildren, Andrew Elfrink, Mark Elfrink, Tara (Scott) Fischer, Amanda (Dave) Ourth and Teresa Elfrink.
She was preceded in death by a son, Clement; and two sisters, Genevieve and Winefrieda.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home, with parish prayers at 7 p.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Monsignor Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Cape Girardeau.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception school or church.
