BLOOMFIELD -- Margaret E. Davis, 79, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998, at the home of a daughter in New Madrid.
She was born July 31, 1919, at Essex, daughter of William and Mary R. Della Tucker Hilderbrand. She and Tom Davis were married Jan. 27, 1939, in Charleston. He died Oct. 13, 1997.
Davis had lived in Tipton, Ind., 25 years, and had lived in the Bloomfield area 54 years. She was a member of Circle City Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include three sons, J.D., Terry and Troy Davis, all of Idalia; two daughters, Margaret Williams of Kokomo, Ind., Shirley Brown of New Madrid; a brother, Robert Hilderbrand of Tilden, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons and a daughter.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
