Margaret Mary Cobb, 92, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at her home.
She was born Feb. 22, 1929, in Cape Girardeau to John M. and Adell Harris Cox. Margaret and Clarence Cobb were united in marriage on Feb. 22, 1947, at Jackson and he passed away on March 14, 2006.
She was a member of DAV Auxilliary, Fleet Reserve Association and was in the bowling league, Bowlerettes, for 35 years.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, William Cobb of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Linda (James) Stone of Advance, Missouri; special cousin, Virginia Munson of Jackson; two grandchildren, Amy Overbeck of Jackson and Beth (Will) Tanksley of Cape Girardeau; five great-grandchildren, Harmony Cash of Cape Girardeau, Melody Cash of Scott City, Audrey Overbeck of Scott City, Harley Owen of Branson, Missouri and Heather Owen of Scott City; brother in-law. John Cobb of Cape Girardeau; and two sister in-law's Meva Cox of Casper, Wyoming, and Virginia Buttry of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers; three sisters, two grandchildren, Chad Stone and infant Angela Stone.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the Ford and Sons Funeral Home on Mount Auburn Road in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Kiblinger officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
