Margaret Bray

CENTRALIA, Ill. -- Margaret I. Gregory Cavaness Bray, 82, of Centralia died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.

She was born April 26, 1920, in Wolf Lake, Ill., the daughter of DeWitt and Augusta Kimmel Gregory. She married Walter Cavaness. He preceded her in death. She later married Marvin Bray. He also preceded her in death.

She is survived by three daughters, Jane Hill of Chicago, Linda Harris of Centralia and Donna Cavaness of Wolf Lake; two sons, Roger Cavaness of Wolf Lake and Lynn Cavaness of McClure, Ill.; three sisters, Betty Cavaness of Collinsville, Wanda Wallace of Sebring, Ky., and Sandra Heckes of Granite City, Ill.; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter and a son.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Stamp officiating.

Burial will be at the Jonesboro Cemetery.
