DEXTER -- Funeral service for Margaret Bledsoe of Dexter will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Clifford Wray will officiate, with burial in Hagy Cemetery.
Bledsoe, 82, died Wednesday, July 2, 1997, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
She was born Oct. 20, 1914, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of Edgar E. and Lula Chester Gray. She and Earl Bledsoe were married in 1966 in Dundee, Ill.
Bledsoe had lived at Dexter many years and was a member of Sweet Prospect General Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Gene Gunter of Norfolk, Va.; a stepdaughter, Sissy Davison of Alexandria, La.; a grandchild; and four stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
