SIKESTON, Mo. -- Margaret Allen, 75, of Sikeston died Saturday, June 17, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born April 13, 1925, in Lawrence County, Tenn., daughter of Andrew and Celia Maybell Cantrell Robinson. She and Marvin R. Allen were married Aug. 22, 1942, in Bloomfield.
She worked in the pattern department at International Shoe Co. and owned and operated Pink Lady Beauty Shop. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Eleanor Alsup of Sikeston; a sister, Mabel Crowder of Lewisburg, Tenn; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Revs. Cecil Adams and Mike Quillman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
