Margaret Ann Crowe, 79, 727 Bellevue, died Thursday, June 1, 1995, at her home.
She was born Aug. 8, 1915, in Des Moines, Iowa, daughter of LuVerne Kenyon and Beatrice Thompson Ellis. She and Dr. John T. Crowe were married in 1941 at Ozark. He died in 1988.
Crowe helped Dr. Helen E. Kinney organize the nursing education program at Southeast Missouri State University in 1958-59.
She was a graduate of Washington University, member of First Presbyterian Church, Chapter BI P.E.O., Southeast Missouri Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center auxiliaries.
Survivors include three sons, John and Stephen Crowe of Phoenix, Ariz., David Crowe of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Elizabeth Gilbert of Columbia, Tenn., and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Charles Dreyer officiating.
Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
