Funeral for Marcus David Musgraves of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Wesley Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Musgraves, 19, died Sunday, March 21, 1999, when his car went into the Whitewater River near Scopus.
He was born April 29, 1979, in Cape Girardeau, son of William Davis and Linda Lindy Musgraves.
Musgraves attended Clippard and Central Junior High School, and Jackson High School.
He was a heavy equipment operator with Dutch Enterprises Inc., and previously worked for Dannie Gilder. He was a member of Mt. Auburn Christian Church.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Linda and Jerry Suedekum of Jackson; a sister, Meredith Musgraves of Jackson; paternal grandparents, Charles and Loretta Musgraves; and maternal grandparents, Les and Wanda Lindy, all of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his father.
