MARCELLA J. MURPHY

CHARLESTON -- Marcella J. Murphy, 63, of Charleston, died Monday, March 1, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 8, 1929, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., daughter of Jesse and Jewell Holder McEntire. She and Ira Murphy were married June 23, 1951. He died May 31, 1985.

Murphy was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Murphy of Charleston; Cecil McEntire of Jonesboro, Ark., Jessie, Tommie, J.B. and Brooks McEntire, all of Charleston, Russell McEntire of East Prairie; three sisters, Nadine Brady of Charleston, Flossie Hurst of Abilene, Texas, Mary Chappell of Sikeston, and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by a brother, sister and half brother.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McMikle Funeral Chapel. Bill Bradley will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friens may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
