KURREVILLE -- Marandia Jane Welker, 54, of Kurreville, died Thursday, May 25, 1995, at St. Louis University Hospital.
She was born Dec. 12, 1940, in Jackson, daughter of Walter Glenn and Mona McCulley Slemmer. She and Bobby Gene Welker were married Feb. 2, 1957, in Hernando, Miss.
Welker was a school bus driver with Jackson R-II Schools 28 years. She was a member of Old Salem United Methodist Church at Millersville.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Glenn E. Welker of Kurreville; two daughters, Robyn Hosp of Jackson, Lysa Rhodes of Kurreville; her mother of Jackson; a brother, Boyd Slemmer of Jackson; a sister, Cindy Underwood of Cape Girardeau, and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today.
Funeral service will follow at Old Salem Church, with the Revs. Raymond Epps and Fred Rister officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
