CROWDER -- Manuel "Beachem" Bell, 60, of Crowder, died Wednesday, March 29, 1995, at his home, following an extended illness.
He was born July 13, 1934, at Crosno, son of Manuel and Jessie Lee Brown Bell Sr. He and Mary Louise O'Dell were married Aug. 5, 1952.
Bell was a retired farmer, and member of Dorena Baptist Church. He was formerly of East Prairie.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Stanley Bell of East Prairie, N.W. Bell of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Shawnee Ramey of Sikeston, Sandra Garduno of Silver Lakes, Calif., Sherry Lyons of New Madrid; two brothers, Paul Bell of Bandana, Ky., Johnny Bell of East Prairie; four sisters, Irene Allen and Nadine Swan of East Prairie, Alma Archie of Hickman, Ky., Geraldine Bass of Granite City, Ill.; 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 8 a.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Orval McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
