EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Manie Lou Davidson of East Prairie will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Shelby Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Amos Johnson will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park.

Friends may call today at the funeral home.

Davidson, 78, died Tuesday, July 28, 1992, at her home.

She was born March 21, 1912, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of Arthur and Fannie Weatherspoon Davis. She married Lubie H. Davidson, who died March 28, 1989.

Survivors include three sons, Willie, Stanley and Paul Davidson of East Prairie; four daughters, Carrie Scott of Mt. Morris, Mich., Betty Davidson, Judy Lewis and Teresa Brawner of East Prairie; a brother, A.E. Davis of East Prairie; a sister, Amy Chance of East Prairie; 39 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, three daughters, three grandchildren, a brother and two sisters.
