Mandy Miller

WELCH, Okla. -- Mandy Miller, 79, of Welch died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, May 19, 2002, at the Integris Regional Health Care Center in Miami, Okla.

She was born Aug. 31, 1922, near Welch, daughter of Manley and Ida Elizabeth Vanover Rogers. She and Wayne Miller were married Feb. 21, 1960, in Welch. He preceded her in death June 19, 1999.

Miller was a member of the First Baptist Church in Welch. She was employed at various places including Newman's Cafe and the Five and Ten Cent Store in Welch.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Sue Stinson of Jackson, Mo.; two step-daughters, Wayona Swope and Romona Foster, both of Tulsa, Olka.; a sister, Jo Huxtable of Welch; seven grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 12 siblings and a granddaughter.

Visitation will be held in the Thomas Chapel in Welch from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The Rev. C.G. Gilmore will officiate with burial in the Rogers Cemetery, west of Welch.
