MAMIE LEDBETTER

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Mamie Ledbetter of East Prairie will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel. Burl Britt will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ledbetter, 84, died Friday, June 9, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Dec. 1, 1910, in Johnsonville, Tenn., daughter of T. and Betty Corbitt. She and William Henry Ledbetter were married May 20, 1928. He died Feb. 6, 1975.

Survivors include five sons, Glen and Edgar Ledbetter of East Prairie, James Ledbetter of Sebring, Fla., Jay Ledbetter of Ocala, Fla., William Ledbetter of East St. Louis, Ill.; three daughters, Ruie Calhoun of Houston, Mo., Mary Pridgeon of Decatur, Ala., Alice Cudnofsky of Dothan, Ala.; 33 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
