BLOOMSDALE, Mo. -- Mamie M. Aubuchon, 84, of Bloomsdale died Monday, May 3, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Nov. 22, 1919, in Ste. Genevieve County, Mo., daughter of James and Annie Akins Carron. She married Henry Aubuchon, who preceded her in death...

BLOOMSDALE, Mo. -- Mamie M. Aubuchon, 84, of Bloomsdale died Monday, May 3, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 22, 1919, in Ste. Genevieve County, Mo., daughter of James and Annie Akins Carron. She married Henry Aubuchon, who preceded her in death.

Aubuchon was currently property custodian for Albert Menefee Jr., and also reported the daily Mississippi River stage for the U.S. Corps of Engineers.

Survivors include a dear daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Floyd Weber of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Jill (Joshua) Rayburn of Murphysboro, Ill., Nathan Weber of Mobile, Ala., Craig (Anita) Carron of Frohna, Carla (Tim) Naeger of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Nicole, Jared and Tiffany Naeger and Kennedy Rayburn; a brother, Howard Carron of Salt Lake City, Utah; and a sister, Lillie Hill of Bloomsdale.

She was preceded in death by a son, Melvin Aubuchon, and three brothers, Francis, Archie and Raymond.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Ste. Genevieve, with the Rev. Lawrence Bradt officiating. Burial will be in Charter Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Jefferson County, Mo.

Wood Family Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve is in charge of arrangements.
