DIEHLSTADT, Mo. -- Malcolm J. Green, 72, of Diehlstadt died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Hayti, Mo., son of Malcolm J. and Mary Elizabeth Green Sr. He married Katie Ione Allen Jan. 31, 1953.
Green has lived in Diehlstadt since 1963, moving from St. Louis, where he was employed with Painters Union 2341 as a drywaller. He was a member of General Baptist Church in Diehlstadt.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Glenn Green of Cedar Hill, Mo., Ricky Green of Benton, Mo., Wayne Green of Fort Eustis, Va.; two daughters, Mary Sanders and Nancy Huff of Ocala, Fla.; a brother, Jerry Green of Ferriday, La.; three sisters, Opal Brummet and Dorothy Brown of Hayti, Rose Clark of Bentonca, Miss.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home with the Revs. Raymond Hannah and Mark Odle, officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
