MaKayla Ann Overy, 4, of Jackson passed away Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 4, 2005, in Cape Girardeau to Michael and Kristen Johnson Overy Jr.

Loving survivors of the immediate family include her mother and father, Kristen and Michael Overy Jr., both of Jackson; two brothers, Cameron and Zackery Overy, both of Jackson; and a half sister, Ashton Overy, also of Jackson.

The surviving maternal family includes her grandmother, Diana Johnson of Jackson; grandfather, Larry Johnson, of Pennsylvania; and great-grandmother, Dora (the late Clem) Koehler of Jackson.

The surviving paternal family includes her grandmother, Tina (Jack) Reisenbichler of Lake Saint Louis, Mo.; grandfather, Michael Overy Sr. of Corning, Ark.; great-grandmother, Joyce (Mike) Teson of Jackson; great-grandfather, Larry Schuler of Maryland Heights, Mo.; great-stepgrandmother, Helen Reisenbichler of Jackson; and great-great-grandmother, Peggy Elliott of Jackson.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Rhodes officiating. Interment to follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the MaKayla Ann Overy Trust. Contributions may be made at the funeral home or any local Regions Bank.
