MAGGIE JAMES

ORAN -- Funeral service for Maggie James of Oran will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Bill Bradley will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.

James, 84, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 1994, at Sikeston Health Care.

She was born Feb. 5, 1910, in Arkansas, daughter of Charlie and Margaret McChristin Jones. She first married Ira Neldon, who preceded her in death. She later married Bob James, who also preceded her in death.

James was a member of the Church of Christ at Morley.

Survivors include two sons, Carl Neldon of Holcomb, Wayne Neldon of Wright City; two daughters, Dorothy Scruggs of Morrice, Mich., Jerry Cody of Morley; a sister, Edna McChristin of Joshua Tree, Calif.; 16 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and five brothers.
