SIKESTON -- Mae O'Neil Caverno, 82, of Akron, Ohio, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 1994, at Hospice Care Center in Akron, Ohio.
She was born Feb. 9, 1912, in Crawford, Ind., daughter of James Edward and Cordelia Alice Starkey Cox.
Formerly of Sikeston, Caverno was a member of Matthews Christian Church, and Sikeston and Charleston Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Buchtel of Akron, Julia Wooldridge of Big Lake, Minn.; a sister, Lucille Tidwell of Sikeston; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Charles E. Buck officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
