ORAN, Mo. -- Mae Murray, 86, of Oran died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 19, 1918, at Doniphan, Mo., daughter of James Hamilton and Elizabeth Amelia Fisher Grant. She and Earl Monroe Murray Sr. were married June 30, 1936. He died Aug. 3, 1989.
Murray was a member of Victory Life Center.
Survivors include three sons, Junior Murray of Bell City, Mo., Hank Murray of Morley, Mo., John Murray of Oran; two daughters, Betty Walters of Land O'Lakes, Fla., Brenda Davis of Valrico, Fla.; 29 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, a stepson, a stepdaughter, two brothers, two sisters and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Victory Life Center after 4 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Brian Flannigan officiating. Burial will be in Friend Cemetery.
