SIKESTON -- Mae Colvin, 90, of Sikeston, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 10, 1903, in Corning, Ark., daughter of Hugh Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Myers Shipley. She and the Rev. Ulus C. Colvin were married in September 1921 in Piggott, Ark. He died Nov. 28, 1937.
Colvin was a retired seamstress, and member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two sons, Clay Colvin of St. Peters, Al Colvin of Long Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Lorice Denbow and Wanda Skalsky of Sikeston; a brother, Ralph Shipley of Essex; two sisters, Myrtle Edwards of Great Falls, Wash., Gertrude Morris of Ypsilanti, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, sister, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Gary Denbow will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery here.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Sunday.
