ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Mae A. Ray Campbell of Anna will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Roy Hill will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m.

Campbell, 88, died Sunday, April 29, 2001, at City Care Center.

She was born Oct. 1, 1912, in Anna, daughter of Harrison and Edna Rushing Absher. She first married Lester Jay Ferguson. She then married Oscar Ray, who died in 1958. She later married John Campbell, who died in 1969.

Campbell worked at International and Florsheim Shoe companies more than 37 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Waring of Anna, Susie Goins of Jonesboro, Ill.; a son, Donald Ray of Anna; a brother, Junior Absher of Dongola, Ill.; two sisters, Delores Phelps of Doniphan, Mo., Ramona Morgan of Carterville, Ill.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, a brother, and three sisters.
