MADGE ALLWOOD

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Madge H. Allwood, 95, of Chaffee died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born March 16, 1905, in Bloomfield, Mo., daughter of Robert Miller and Elizabeth Stevens Stafford. She and Joe A. Allwood were married May 16, 1941. He died Jan. 3, 1975.

Allwood was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Athens, Ill.

Survivors include one half brother, Robert Stafford, and one half sister, Ruth Allwood, both of Chaffee, Mo, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four half brothers and one half sister.

Friends may call at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee. The Rev. Watis Harrell will officiate.
