ZALMA -- Mack Irvin, 78, of Zalma, died Friday, March 1, 1996, at the Dexter Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 17, 1917, in Bollinger County, son of Robert and Maude Bennett Irvin.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Brush Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by one sister, Ina Simmers of Advance. One brother preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be held today at 3 p.m. at the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with the Rev. Ray Moore officiating and the Rev. Bill Sargent assisting. Burial will be in Brush Creek Cemetery near Zalma.

Visitation was held Saturday.
