Macie Dunn

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Macie Dunn, 87, of Advance died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 27, 1918, in Lake County, Tenn., daughter of Maud and Isabell Barber Andrews. She and Walter Dunn were married Nov. 9, 1940, at Caruthersville, Mo.

Dunn worked as a certified nurse's assistant at the Bell City Nursing Home. She attended Bell City General Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Frank Dunn of Festus, Mo.; a daughter, Joyce Stewart of Oak Ridge; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters, a grandson and a great-granddaughter.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo., with the Rev. Mike Triplett officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
