ANNA, Ill. -- Mable Butler, 84, of Anna died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, at the home of a grandson in Anna.
She was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Union County, Ill., daughter of James and Iva Griffith Sims. She married Willie D. Butler, who preceded her in death.
Butler retired from International Shoe Co., and then had a laundry business. She was a member of Landmark Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include a son, Raymond Butler of San Diego, Calif.; four sisters, Lela McClure and Mildred Fuller of Anna, Ruby Davie of Pendleton, Ore., Mary Nagy of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; three brothers, Charles Sims of Carbondale, Ill., Claude Dillow Jr. of Searcy, Ark., Bob Housman of Wheatfield, Ind.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons and three sisters.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.
