GORDONVILLE -- Mabel Ulrich, 93, of Gordonville Route 3, died Thursday, May 16, 1991, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.
She was born Nov. 1, 1897, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Frank and Mary Tunze Newburn. She married Joseph Ulrich Jan. 9, 1918. He died Feb. 11, 1968.
Ulrich was a lifelong member of Zion Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Harry Ulrich of St. Ann, Nelson Ulrich of East St. Louis, Ill., Melvin Ulrich of Scott City; five daughters, Dorothy Murta and Marjorie Medlin of St. Charles, Bernice Quade and Elsie Eggimann of Gordonville, Lorene Hood of West Memphis, Ark.; a brother, Elmer Newburn of Cherokee Village, Ark.; three sisters, Frohna Switzer of Jackson, Minnie Clifton of Portland, Ore., Augusta Aldridge of Wolf Lake, Ill.; 20 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Church. The Rev. Thomas Gross will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
